Blender is a free 3D computer graphics software tool that can be used to create 3D art, game assets, custom characters, animations, visual effects, simulations, movies and much more.

Blender has applications in game development, the arts, the animation movie industry and manufacturing and can ignite kids’ passion for STEAM. As they progress, they’ll discover the potential of the software to bring their imagination to life!


Students will learn more complex modelling techniques and learn about textures and lighting.


Students should have taken Blender - 3D Art for Beginners I or have some experience with Blender.

Tools required

Students will need to have a computer (Windows or Mac).

A three button mouse is highly recommended for use with Blender. If possible, please ensure that your child is furnished with one.
