In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of C# programming while using the Unity Game Engine to build fun and interactive 2D games.0
Starting with the fundamentals of C#, students will learn about variables, data types, operators, conditional statements, loops, methods, classes, and objects. They will apply these concepts directly in Unity, writing C# scripts to control player movement, respond to user input, detect collisions, manage scores and health, create enemies and collectibles, and control the rules of their games.
Students will also learn important Unity concepts including Game Objects, Components, Sprites, 2D Physics, Colliders, Prefabs, Scenes, Audio, and User Interfaces.
Unity Hub - Students are required to download and install the Unity Hub by going to https://unity.com and clicking on the Download Unity button in the top right hand corner before the start of the course. Ensure that your computer meets the minimum hardware requirements.
